Description
AWS is hiring an Optical Network Development Engineer for its Data Center Regional Network Engineering Services team. The role designs, builds, deploys, and scales optical networks supporting AWS data centers and customers, while collaborating with vendors, developing optical test plans, automating optical testing, improving RMA and operational processes, and producing technical documentation. The position requires at least four years of major internet routing protocol and Linux/Unix experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and experience with large-scale networking, networking administration, automation, and process improvement. The Seattle, Washington location offers a base salary of 136,000 to 184,000 USD annually, plus sign-on payments, restricted stock units, and comprehensive benefits.
