AWS Core Networking is hiring an Optical Network Development Engineer for its Data Center Regional Network Engineering Services team. The role focuses on designing and deploying optical networking systems for data center connectivity and scalability, evaluating optical hardware and software, automating optical testing, troubleshooting network issues, and maintaining technical documentation. The position requires at least four years of major internet routing protocol experience, four years of Linux/Unix experience, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field; Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl automation scripting is preferred.
