Description
Satellogic is hiring a full-time Optical Payload Systems Engineer to lead the optical payload subsystem for new spacecraft models. The role interprets mission and spacecraft requirements, establishes baseline technical requirements, performs optoelectronics trade studies, defines verification and integration plans, supports operations, oversees payload module manufacture and acceptance testing, and manages anomalies and non-conformances. Candidates need a BSc in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Physics, background or coursework in optoelectronics, and at least three years of experience in optics, photography, laser engineering, sensors, camera design, optoelectronics, or a similar field.
