Description
ASML is hiring an Optical Sensor Design Engineer to design, build, test, and integrate optical alignment sensor systems for lithography machines in its Wafer Alignment Sensor department. The role involves imaging, detector, fiber-optic, and photonic systems; test-data analysis; root-cause investigations; signal-processing algorithms; and cross-functional coordination. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, at least two years of relevant engineering experience, and hands-on optical-system experience; a master’s degree is preferred. The position is on-site in Wilton, Connecticut, with a possible flexible arrangement of up to two remote days per week, and requires cleanroom and laboratory work.
