The Optical Technician (Level 1) performs daily optical-lab production and inventory tasks, including stocking and distributing lenses, operating an automatic taper, edging and uncut lenses, transcribing digital jobs, moving work through the department, and supporting quality and safety procedures. The role requires one to two years of manufacturing, production, or optical-technology experience, strong manual dexterity, color recognition, physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods, and availability to work any shift, time, or day. Compensation is listed at $15.75 to $22.58, with possible eligible bonuses and commissions.
