Description
This is a full-time Optical Telecommunications Engineering Internship in San Jose, California, scheduled for January 2027 through December 2027. The intern will develop and execute Optical Design Verification Test (ODVT) plans, characterize coherent linecards and pluggable optical modules, analyze complex test data, troubleshoot design issues, maintain test stations, and document results. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, physics, or a related field, programming or scripting skills, familiarity with electrical and optical test equipment, and basic knowledge of fiber-optic communication systems and digital signal processing.
