Impulse Space is hiring an Optical Test Specialist to perform opto-mechanical component testing and help develop and maintain advanced test equipment. The role works closely with engineering to improve test processes and includes fabricating, assembling, testing, verifying, and troubleshooting flight hardware and automated acceptance testing systems, with responsibilities spanning vacuum, thermal, electrical, and data acquisition equipment. The position requires significant hands-on experience with opto-mechanical or electronic assembly and testing, plus the ability to work independently, document results clearly, and train other technicians.
