Description
The Optical Trainer develops, delivers, and improves training programs for optical shop employees across multiple locations. The role covers optical products, sales, customer service, insurance billing, EMR systems, on-site coaching, performance feedback, training materials, and staff orientation, while traveling regularly to regional clinics and shops. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of optical experience including one year in training or supervision, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree and optician or ABO certification are preferred.
