Description
The Optical Transceiver Hardware Design Engineer will design, develop, test, and troubleshoot optical transceiver hardware and electrical systems. Responsibilities include optical, RF, and timing measurements; PCBA and optical transceiver design; RF simulation; DFM and design-review support; BOM and ECO documentation; component availability coordination; and integration with firmware, optical, mechanical, and process engineering teams. The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with two years of experience, strong analog and RF design skills, laboratory measurement experience, and electronics CAD and system-modeling experience; an M.S. is preferred and a Ph.D. is a plus. The position is onsite, with occasional off-site meetings or travel, and may require overtime.
