Description
Apple is hiring an Optics Manufacturing Engineer to develop advanced manufacturing processes for high-precision molded optics with external suppliers, from prototype through volume production. The role covers precision molding process development, optical tooling design and manufacturing, metrology establishment, failure analysis, supplier technical management, and opto-mechanical module integration. The engineer will be embedded in Apple's supply chain region, communicate with internal and global cross-functional teams, and may travel up to 70% to support vendor engagements.
