Lockheed Martin is hiring a full-time Optics Manufacturing Engineer for its Missiles and Fire Control team to support the production of precision optical components through grinding, polishing, and high-precision fabrication. The role develops manufacturing and test plans, applies lean manufacturing, manages tooling and capital equipment, investigates defects, and drives continuous improvement. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical or optical engineering or a related discipline, CAD and GD&T knowledge, and hands-on optics manufacturing or manual/CNC machining experience; the position requires U.S. citizenship and access to a facility with special access requirements.
