Description
IonQ is hiring a Technician for its Optical Manufacturing team to support quantum computer systems through optical, mechanical, and electrical assembly, system builds, upgrades, and research projects. The role also involves maintaining a safe laboratory and workshop, producing technical documentation, and working with engineers, scientists, and senior technicians. Candidates should have approximately three years of relevant industrial operations experience, advanced technical assembly experience, and experience working with personal protective equipment; experience with fibre optics, optics, electronics, vacuum, high-precision parts, lasers, or scientific instrumentation is advantageous.
