Description
Trafigura is hiring an Optimization Engineer for its Refining Technical team in Houston. The hybrid role is split between optimizing a splitter asset through LP-based models, feed selection, yield and sensitivity analysis, and operational optionality, and supporting M&A activity across the Oil and Power businesses through technical due diligence, HSEC assessment, commercial value cases, and third-party negotiations. The position is intended for an early-career process, plant, or project engineer with power and oil/refining exposure, capital-project experience, and familiarity with M&A or technical due diligence.
