FastBreak AI is seeking an Optimization Performance Specialist to design, execute, and analyze performance benchmarks for AI and ML optimization approaches used in their sports scheduling platform. The specialist will collaborate with leading sports leagues like the NBA and NHL, owning the benchmark "truth set" to steer the optimization roadmap. Responsibilities include applying computer science and mathematical skills to determine optimal algorithmic approaches, determining parameter settings, and working with other optimization specialists. The role involves designing and maintaining benchmarking frameworks, analyzing algorithmic performance, identifying bottlenecks, generating reports, and integrating benchmark testing into CI/CD pipelines.
