Chicago Public Schools is hiring an Options School Evaluator for its Options Network in Chicago. Reporting to the Manager of Options Performance & Support, the evaluator leads and supports academic renewal evaluations and site visits for charter, contract, and ALOP schools, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative evidence on instructional quality, leadership, school climate, compliance, and academic programming. The role produces objective Site Visit Reports, supports renewal and authorization decisions, analyzes network-wide trends, contributes to academic support and professional development, updates evaluation tools, and helps coordinate evaluation operations. A bachelor's degree, Illinois teaching license with a relevant endorsement, and at least five years of classroom teaching experience are required; leadership experience, a master's degree, administrative endorsement, and ISBE evaluator qualifications are preferred.
