viaPhoton is hiring an Optoelectronics Engineer to guide its Co-Packaged Optics product family from technology selection and architecture through development, integration, and production. The role involves assessing optical-engineering technology and vendor ecosystems, developing optical modules, using optical and electrical modeling and simulation software, and collaborating with digital and analog circuit, signal and power integrity, substrate layout, and system design teams. The position is onsite in Naperville, Illinois, Monday through Friday, and offers a base salary of $80,000 to $150,000 plus an annual bonus.
