The Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant supports patients and optometrists through onsite and remote eye examinations, including registration, pre-testing, documentation, insurance authorization, contact-lens care, appointment scheduling, and triage. The role requires one year of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and medical-office professionalism; optical or healthcare background is preferred. It is a part-time position with pay of $17.75 to $26.63 per hour, requires travel between stores, and involves standing, walking, reaching, lifting up to 20 pounds, and frequent use of computers and pre-testing instruments.
