Description
Prairie Band Health Service is hiring an Optometrist to provide outpatient eye care at the Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center Optometry Clinic in Zuni, New Mexico. The role includes comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis and management of optometric and ocular medical conditions, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma screenings, emergency eye care, prescribing corrective and therapeutic products, and ordering diagnostic studies. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday during normal clinic hours, with local or locums applicants welcomed. Applicants must hold a Doctor of Optometry degree, a current unrestricted U.S. optometry license, Basic Life Support certification, and required immunizations and tuberculosis screening documentation.
