Description
The MedServ Group is seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide monthly eye-care visits to residents in a nursing home and long-term care setting. Responsibilities include comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis and management of ocular conditions, corrective-lens prescriptions, electronic medical record documentation, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare staff. The role requires a Doctor of Optometry degree, a current state optometry license, and strong clinical and communication skills; geriatric experience and EMR familiarity are preferred. Compensation is $1,125 per day for 22–25 patients per visit, with all doctors classified as 1099 independent contractors.
