Description
The MedServ Group is hiring a part-time Optometrist to provide monthly visits to residents in skilled nursing facilities. The role includes comprehensive eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, prescribing corrective lenses or eye medications, pre- and post-operative care, and patient education. The position requires a Doctor of Optometry degree and an active state license, with a Monday-Friday schedule of 7–8 hours per visit and compensation of $40–$45 per patient or 35%–40% of collections.
