The MedServ Group is seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care to residents in a nursing home and long-term care setting. Responsibilities include conducting eye examinations, diagnosing and managing ocular conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, maintaining electronic medical records, educating patients, and collaborating with healthcare staff. The role requires a Doctor of Optometry degree, a current state optometry license, and strong clinical and communication skills; geriatric experience and EMR familiarity are preferred. The position offers a flexible schedule and pays $1125.00 per day for 22–25 patients per visit, with doctors classified as 1099 independent contractors.
