The MedServ Group is seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care to residents in a nursing home and long-term care setting. Responsibilities include conducting eye examinations, diagnosing and managing ocular conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, maintaining electronic medical records, educating patients, and collaborating with healthcare staff. The role requires a Doctor of Optometry degree, a current state optometry license, and strong clinical and communication skills; geriatric experience and EMR familiarity are preferred. The schedule is flexible, and compensation is offered on a per-patient or percentage-of-collections basis, with doctors classified as 1099 independent contractors.
