Description

The Optometrist will provide routine and acute vision and eye care to active-duty service members, their families, and eligible beneficiaries at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Responsibilities include comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis and management of ocular conditions, prescribing corrective lenses and medications, pre- and post-operative evaluations, advanced diagnostic testing, removal of ocular foreign bodies, patient education, and collaboration with ophthalmologists and other specialists. The role requires a Doctor of Optometry degree, ACOE-accredited optometry program completion, and an unrestricted U.S. optometry license, and is scheduled full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
