Description

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging exams using CT, MRI, interventional radiology, and cardiology equipment; verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires images, reviews and documents findings, responds to emergencies, provides post-care instructions, and participates in quality and process-improvement activities. The role may also perform duties as a Radiologic Technologist as needed and requires ARRT registration in Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiography, or Cardiovascular-Interventional radiography, plus BLS, ACLS or PALS, and at least one year of Radiologic Technologist experience.
