Description

Deloitte is hiring an Oracle Database Admin to administer and optimize Oracle databases across production, development, test, and disaster-recovery environments. The role covers database configuration, GoldenGate replication, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, performance tuning, security, incident response, upgrades, migrations, and automation using SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 4+ years of professional Oracle Database Administration experience
Experience with Oracle architecture, schemas, tablespaces, indexes, partitioning, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN backup and recovery
Experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication and troubleshooting, database performance monitoring, PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and execution plan analysis
Proficiency with Linux or Unix operating systems and shell scripting
Preferred Qualifications: Active Oracle Database or related cloud infrastructure certifications
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Experience with FSI organizations, Exadata, OEM, advanced GoldenGate tooling, database upgrades and migrations, AI/GenAI and RPA automation, and hybrid-cloud platforms
Ability to operate in controlled financial-services environments and knowledge of SOX, PCI-DSS, GLBA, access reviews, and data privacy controls
