Description
The Oral Surgery Assistant II/III supports oral and maxillofacial surgeons by setting up sterile and non-sterile procedures, assisting with minor surgeries, circulating, completing EMR and paperwork, and performing procedures such as radiography, impressions, digital scans, splint removal, suturing, and pack placement. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, current BLS certification, infection control training, sterile processing certification or experience, dental radiography certification, nitrous oxide training, IV/phlebotomy certification, and anesthesia-related continuing education, with some certifications obtainable within 90 days or one year of employment.
