Intuitive Machines is hiring an Orbital Welder in Houston, Texas, to fabricate and inspect critical spacecraft thin-walled tubes made of Inconel, titanium, and stainless steel. The role involves developing orbital weld programs, operating AMI M217 and Polysoude P4-4 welding machines, working in a spacecraft-building clean room, reading engineering drawings, solving welding problems, maintaining equipment, and producing defect-free X-ray-quality welds to AWS D17.1 specifications. The position requires 2–5 years of orbital welding experience focused on aerospace or space components, with technical training or certification preferred and no degree required with sufficient experience.
