ECPI University is hiring a Freshman Orientation and Remedial Instructor to teach incoming students self-management skills, including computer skills, study habits, job seeking and interviewing, resume and cover letter writing. The role involves classroom and lab instruction, syllabus and curriculum support, lesson planning, student evaluation, progress and grade reporting, attendance records, faculty meetings, and campus events. A master’s degree in Communications or a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in a discipline is required; 3–5 years of practical work experience is preferred, and two years of teaching or presentation experience is a plus. The position is based at the North Charleston, South Carolina campus.
