Description
Lockheed Martin is hiring a Mechanical Test Engineer for the Orion spacecraft program to plan, prepare, execute, and document mechanical integration and testing activities for Artemis III, Artemis IV, and future missions. The role covers acceptance, environmental, and ground-servicing tests of flight hardware, including fluids, pneumatic systems, mechanical structures, and mechanisms, primarily at Kennedy Space Center with periodic support at other locations. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, US citizenship, extended-shift and weekend availability, and familiarity with spacecraft testing, test documentation, and related engineering tools.
