Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer to lead Orion Hierarchical Rollouts and Orion Config within its Network Infrastructure group. The role owns Orion production infrastructure, provides technical leadership, influences and coaches a distributed engineering team, defines architecture and customer use cases, manages project priorities, and designs, develops, tests, deploys, and maintains large-scale APIs and software solutions. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of C++ programming experience, 5 years of software product testing and launch experience, 5 years of large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems experience, and 3 years of software design and architecture experience.
