Description
The Orthodontic Assistant supports the orthodontic doctor team by providing patient service, educating patients, assisting with chairside care and appliance placement and removal, taking X-rays and photographs, fabricating retainers, maintaining charts, and preparing and sterilizing equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of relative experience, orthodontic knowledge, strong communication and organizational skills, and computer proficiency.
