Description
Summit Orthopedics is hiring a full-time Orthopedic Clinical Assistant to provide clinical support in an orthopedic clinic or Orthopedic Urgent Care Walk-in setting. The role supports physicians and other providers by rooming patients, obtaining medical histories, preparing patients for evaluation and treatment, assisting with casting, splinting, suture and staple removal, dispensing durable medical equipment, educating patients, scheduling follow-up appointments, verifying insurance and demographics, refilling prescriptions, and managing patient records and paperwork. The position is primarily based at the Woodbury (Woodlake) Clinic with flexibility to float to other Summit campuses, including Hastings, Minnesota, and may involve outreach-site coverage. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, subject to change, with a base salary of $22.70 to $28.38 per hour and medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefits.
