Description
The Orthopedics Staff Nurse provides ambulatory nursing care to a defined group of patients, including assessment, care planning, interventions, education, coordination with the health care team, and evaluation of patient responses. The role also supports hospitalization needs, discharge planning, preventive care, infection control, quality assurance, and professional development. It is a 0.9 FTE position with a Monday-through-Friday schedule, with either Tuesday or Wednesday as a possible regular day off.
