Description
Installs and maintains outdoor plant (OSP) copper and fiber optic facilities and associated telecommunications equipment. This includes installing direct-buried cables, demarcation devices, and locating buried cabling. The role also involves performing copper splicing, routine maintenance and repairs on OSP facilities, and ensuring all installations comply with RUS and telecom industry standards. Additional responsibilities include assisting with campus facilities maintenance like snow removal and grounds upkeep, and performing basic maintenance on construction equipment.
