PolyTALENT is hiring a permanent OT Security Engineer in Saerbeck to secure and improve industrial networks, SCADA/PLC environments, and remote access at biogas plants. The role covers security concepts, network segmentation, secure communications, remote access hardening, vulnerability and risk management, backup and emergency planning, and coordination with IT, automation, plant engineering, and external integrators. Candidates should have professional experience in OT security, industrial security, automation, control systems, SCADA, or industrial IT, along with practical experience in network segmentation, secure remote access, and backup/restore scenarios. The position offers up to 50% remote work, flexible hours, and approximately 20% travel to plant sites.
