The role combines outage planning, scheduling, coordination, switching and isolation, fault response, and hands-on electrical work across high-voltage substations, generation sites, and distribution environments. Applicants need registered electrician status, relevant Level 4 electrical qualifications, Transpower Works Management and Maintenance Switcher qualifications, a current New Zealand driver's licence, and experience with operating documents and technical records.
