Sierra Nevada Journeys is hiring full-time seasonal Outdoor Program Instructors to begin February 2, 2027, with the season running through mid-November 2027. The role delivers outdoor science education, challenge-course and camp activities, meals, assessments, and program support to youth from under-resourced communities, including school, community, and overnight camp participants. Instructors may assume Ropes Lead, Lead OPI, or Youth Development Backcountry Trip Leader responsibilities. The position pays $118.32 to $123.32 per day depending on experience, includes off-site housing and meals, and offers additional certifications, paid time off, sick leave, bonuses, retirement matching, and family camp discounts.
