Description
Datavant is hiring an experienced, credentialed outpatient coder to review medical records, assign and sequence diagnosis and procedure codes, determine discharge disposition, abstract coded data, and communicate coding issues. The role requires AHIMA or AAPC certification, at least two years of hospital or coding consulting experience, proficiency in specified coding specialties, and experience with computerized encoding and abstracting software. It is fully remote with a flexible schedule and offers benefits, training, stipends, and equipment for full-time and PRN employees.
