Description
Datavant is hiring experienced and credentialed outpatient coders for a fully remote role with a flexible schedule. The position reviews medical records, assigns and sequences diagnosis and procedure codes, determines discharge disposition, abstracts coded data, and communicates coding issues. Candidates must hold AHIMA or AAPC credentials, have at least three years of hospital or coding consulting experience, and be proficient in specified coding specialties. The role offers full-time medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401(k) match, paid time off, free continuing education, and equipment; PRN employees receive a 401(k) match. The estimated base pay is $20–$35 USD per hour, and the role is not eligible for employment sponsorship.
