Outpatient Medical Coder at TEKsystems

TEKsystems is hiring a remote Outpatient Medical Coder for a 12-month contract supporting a long-term government project, with possible extension or conversion. The role reviews medical records and related documentation to assign diagnoses, procedures, and codes; sequences clinical information; ensures compliance with coding guidelines and federal and insurance regulations; and prepares accurate data for billing. Candidates must have at least two years of outpatient medical coding experience and professional certification from AAPC or AHIMA. The position is fully remote, based out of Tampa, Florida, and pays $35–$45 per hour with additional fringe benefits.
