Description
The Pharmacy Technician performs semi-technical and clerical duties in a pharmacy or hospital setting, including filling and repackaging prescriptions, matching labels, preparing unit-dose supplies, dispensing medications and over-the-counter products, processing drug requisitions, maintaining inventory, and assisting with patient service. The role also handles cashiering, payment collection, receipt issuance, cash reconciliation, bank deposits, reporting, and coordination of incoming calls.
