Odyssey House is hiring a full-time Peer Outreach Worker for its Bronx Street Outreach Program in the Bronx, New York. The role engages people who use drugs and community members in high-need areas, provides harm-reduction supplies and overdose-prevention education, offers peer support and trauma-informed engagement, assists with Medicaid, housing, benefits, and treatment referrals, conducts behavioral health screenings, maintains outreach records, and collaborates with community partners. Applicants must have lived experience with substance use, recovery, or harm reduction, hold a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate credential, and have strong skills in harm reduction, overdose prevention, and motivational interviewing; prior street-outreach or peer-navigation experience and bilingual ability are preferred.
