Description

Hunter Communications Inc. is seeking an Outside Plant Project Manager to lead telecommunications construction and deployment projects. This role involves end-to-end project ownership, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence, developing detailed project plans, monitoring finances, and providing regular updates. The manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, act as a primary liaison, and lead meetings to address issues and adjust plans. Key responsibilities include risk mitigation, vendor relationship management, compliance with industry standards, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 2 or more years of fiber optic construction project management experience.
Demonstrated experience meeting project deadlines.
Experience managing large scale FTTH projects.
Current working knowledge of Outside Plant architectures, including aerial, underground, and building applications.
Experience utilizing project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Monday, etc.
Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 or more years of fiber optic inside and outside plant construction project management experience.
Documented experience managing outside plant fiber construction projects on Tribal lands.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience working with advanced outside plant project management platforms such as Vitruvi, Sitetracker, GeoIQ, etc.
