Description
The Overhead Crane Operator loads and unloads coiled steel from trucks and other equipment, stores the material using overhead cranes, tracks inventory, and follows safety policies. The role works the second shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, in a dirty and physically demanding environment involving walking, standing, and lifting materials up to 51 pounds. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, age 18 or older, basic math and literacy, and basic computer skills. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour plus a $3.50 shift differential, with additional bonuses, retirement matching, medical insurance coverage, and paid time off.
