Description
Egis is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a strategic ASTI transmission infrastructure project involving a 2.2km cable tunnel beneath the River Thames, CSEC construction in Tilbury and Gravesend, cable decommissioning, and coordination with the Great Grid Partnership. The role manages construction activities, contractors, project programmes, budgets, schedules, quality, risks, regulatory compliance, and project reporting, with early works beginning in February 2025 and a delivery deadline at the end of 2029. The position requires at least 10 years of project management experience, preferably in transmission and distribution, along with knowledge of CDM, NEC4 contracts, UK transmission engineering, and relevant commissioning, design, and drawing-management processes.
