Description
MCDOT is hiring a Transportation Systems Technician I/II (Overhead) to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead traffic signal equipment, communication cables, variable-message signs, detectors, and related electrical systems. The role requires a valid Commercial Driver’s License, bucket-truck experience, basic electrical or construction knowledge, rotating shift availability, and the ability to work in field conditions near active traffic. Transportation Systems Technician I requires one year of relevant experience, while Technician II requires three years; both require high school education or an equivalent combination and a pre-employment medical evaluation.
