Description
Berkeley Repertory Theatre is hiring an Overhire Scenic Carpenter for seasonal full-time, non-exempt work in its Scene Shop and during production load-ins. The role involves interpreting theatrical CAD drafts, fabricating and constructing scenic elements from wood, metal, plastics, fabric, and foam, operating wood and metal working tools and CNC machines, collaborating with production departments, and participating in load-in and load-out activities. The position is performed in person on the Berkeley Rep campus and requires physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working from heights. The stated salary is $26.25 per hour.
