Description
Eaton is hiring a P&R Operator for the first shift, with core hours from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The role operates conventional, NC, CNC, automatic chucking, and other machining equipment to produce explosion-proof parts, including turning, drilling, milling, boring, threading, and deburring operations. The operator positions parts, loads materials, changes tooling, inspects finished parts, performs minor maintenance, maintains records, and may instruct others. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of drill press setup and CNC operation experience, blueprint-reading ability, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Syracuse facility. The stated hourly rate is $22.52, with preferred experience in NC and CNC machine setup and operation and a forklift experience.
