Description
The Physician Assistant assesses, plans, and provides patient care under physician supervision, including inpatient, emergency, and medical treatment patient rounds; ordering diagnostic tests, labs, imaging, nutrition, and medications; performing minor procedures; initiating emergency care; and collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and patient families. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Medicine or Health Sciences, a Louisiana Physician Assistant license, national certification, and current BLS certification.
