Description
AASC is hiring PACE Transportation Drivers to provide safe, reliable transportation for ambulatory and non-ambulatory participants, including those in wheelchairs or on stretchers, to various destinations in the Cedar Bluff area. The role involves assisting participants, operating agency vehicles safely, communicating with healthcare personnel, maintaining accurate records, and providing authorized PACE services. Requirements include a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, ability to read, write, and communicate, moderate to heavy lifting, DOT physical, drug and alcohol testing, criminal background check, agency driving test, and one year of experience with the elderly; a high school diploma or GED, previous experience, CDL with passenger endorsement, and radio communication equipment are preferred or useful.
